Abandoned at birth because her mother thought she was stillborn she was left in a swamp to struggle for survival. Her spirit was strong but her body was small and fragile. She was found an hour later by a broken up dapple grey arab mare named "Looking Glass". Glass had just lost her coat and run away from her herd. Born to an evil stallion she was given to a sister herd as a broodmare to the lead stallion's son. Glass' 'mate proved to be abusive and another mare murdered her son so hers could be heir. Glass ran away and coming upon the abandoned white filly she took her in.

Whiskey never knew her secret past and considered herself Glass' real daughter. She had a habit of running away even at 2 weeks old and exploring. Gone for days at a time then grounded weeks at a time, they were loners on the outskirts. Whiskey was driven away from the local herds when she got the foals in big trouble. She was considered unlucky. At 6 months they finally joined a herd only in the rainy season to be washed away in a flood.

Whiskey was separated from the herd and her mother and alone again. The white filly raised herself in the wilderness. Never again joining a herd she remained in the mountain peaks where the snow remained and she was hidden only coming down in the winter. It was in her third year she began to linger that spring in the lower lands then Jake found her and forcebred her. He tried to drive her nito his herd and but the elusive beauty slipped away and was found by Starstruck and Cathecassa. Starstruck took special care of her and she was protected by Jake's numerous attempts to capture her in Cathecassa's care. Trigger was born and now she has her hands full with the rambunctious colt.
